Job Description :
The HRIS/Benefits Manager has full HR responsibility for CHCs HRIS system, Workday. This includes supporting the Workday applications, integrations, processes, maintaining of data and projects, and training and communications programs for HR Staff and CHC managers and staff. Responsibilities also include maintaining documentation and testing functionality utilizing the sandbox. Works with management and internal groups to develop processes and procedures for maintenance of HR systems. Provides metrics and reports to identify business problems and/or support business processes. Responsible for protecting employee confidential data. Primary responsibility for benefits planning, analysis and administration.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Workday system implementations, upgrades and projects schedules and leads project meetings; identifies critical business or end-user requirements; identifies potential issues and researches possible solutions; creates data load templates and enters or loads data into the system; validates the load process, develops and conducts system testing
Works with internal client groups to identify requirements for data report and metrics. Creates and delivers high quality, easy to use reports including charts and graphs as needed. Trains users in how to generate reports.
Uses understanding of system setup, inter dependencies and data flow to track down system and interface problems; addresses issues with software vendor; tests and implements resolutions.
Creates and maintains documents for process flow, procedures and training purposes.
Responsible for working with internal groups to identify appropriate process workflow for automated processes in Workday. Document, implement and test system workflow. Implement procedures for auditing and maintaining organizational hierarchy and other elements that impact the workflow.
Leads efforts to eliminate paper processes and multiple HR data bases.
Provides training for HR staff to insure competency in Workday processes.
Implements robust manager and employee self-service.
Support company-wide compensation processes
Serve as the subject matter expert on the underlying technologies that support HR services
Oversee all benefit programs including health, dental, vision, short and long term disability, life insurance.
Participates in benefit design projects.
Insures CHC compliance with benefit plan and compensation statutes and regulations.
Benefit invoice reconciliation and processing
COBRA processing
Plan Administrator for Workers Compensation
Plan Administrator for 403(b) Plan
Supervises HR Coordinator. Trains, delegates, motivate, and assesses. Responsible for developing resolutions to automate and consolidate many of the HR Coordinator tasks.
Provide excellent customer service to vendors and staff
May perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary
Required Qualifications :
Workday experience heavily preferred.Required Skills and Education
o Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Technology or related program of study
o Minimum of five (5) years experience working with HRIS
o Experience working as part of a human resources team
o Experience supervising support staff
o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o Proven ability to independently initiate and execute projects with a strong attention to detail and deadlines
o Proven customer service, organizational and team collaboration skills
o Ability to manage multiple tasks, efficiently prioritize projects and embrace new challenges
o Strong technology aptitude with excellent MS Office suite skills
o Able to work well with diverse groups and willingness to assist where needed.
