Department: Pharmaceutical Warehouse Distribution

Position Title: Warehouse Manager

Education Requirements:

Four-year degree in Business and/or pharmaceutical distribution industry related field.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience in cold chain/ambient pharmaceutical inventory management


• Experience in pharmaceutical warehouse operations management


• Experience incost-savingsanalysis in shipping and shipping materials


• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and E-Commerce/Web basedapplications.


• Knowledgeable in Florida Statute 499 requirements and VAWD accreditation


• Florida CDR License preferred

Description of Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for:


• Maintaining high standards of quality, while achieving high productivity goals


• Developing and updating policies and procedures manuals that adhere to VAWD and Florida Statutes.


• Negotiating freight rates and services with all carriers and suppliers


• Educate and monitor warehouse staff to ensure compliance measures are met at all time.


• Conduct individual Performance evaluations


• Oversee the warehouse workflows and drive efficiencies


• Implement and maintain appropriate process, procedures, and staffing to ensure efficient operations


• Oversee all aspects of Package logistics and maximize inbound and outbound efficiencies. Analyze the overall flow of packages and determine best shipping methods.


• Manage the warehouse to ensure inventory integrity is maintained at all times.


• Ensure that departmental goals are met. Departmental goals include, but are not limited to, the following:


• All process and procedure guidelines are being followed


• Quality assurance is maintained


• Shipping, receivingandstocking is completed accurately each day


• Safety guidelines are adhered to including hazardous drug handling and documentation of employee education


• All orders are accurately picked, checked, packed and shipped each day

Additional Requirements:

• “On Call” and available to handleafter hoursemergencies including weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year
