Job Description :
A. Consultative selling that will demonstrate the Company’s value-added service philosophy and will position the Company as a strategic business partner to existing and prospective customers. B. Meeting or exceeding sales quotas and other periodic goals and objectives set by management, including, but not limited to: 1) number of prospective clients identified and contacted, and 2) the number of outbound calls on a daily or weekly basis, etc. C. Maintain and demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, integrity, and unparalleled knowledge, reliability, and service in all interactions with Existing Customers, Prospective Customers and Vendors. D. Acquire and maintain a thorough clinical working knowledge of the Products sold by the Company through personal development, participation in training programs and seminars sponsored by the Company and/or by manufacturers, and attendance at industry events. E. Acquire and maintain a thorough working knowledge of the reimbursement policies and regulations that impact the products sold by the Company including updating reimbursement landscape in the territory or territories assigned to the Territory Business Manager on an account-by-account basis for the various payors within an account. F. Implement a consultative selling approach that will demonstrate the Company’s value-added service philosophy and will position the Company as a strategic business partner to existing customers and prospective customers. G. Identify prospective customers through review of professional association membership rosters, research of Internet web sites, referrals from existing customers, identification of leads in the Company’s database and other means. Develop relationships with prospective customers so that they will become existing customers. Obtain monthly new and re-activated account goals as determined by management. H. Prepare oral and written sales and marketing presentations to existing customers and prospective customers to compare and contrast the features and benefits of the products and services sold by the Company in order to increase (a) the Company’s market share, (b) the Company’s share of purchases made by existing customers, and (c) the profitability of the relationships with existing customers. I. Through periodic industry research and through conversations with existing customers, monitor and review industry and market trends, and the activities and pricing of competitors, including pricing matrix, to determine customer needs, pricing strategies and strategic initiatives that will position the Company as an industry leader. Ensure competitive data acquisition and obtain goals for quality competitive notes as determined by management. J. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales and profitability projections, and other projects, as requested by management. Monitor individual activities, measure progress towards the achievement of these projections and implement corrective action as needed. Provide variance explanations of actual versus projected results. K. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data about all existing customers and prospective customers that is stored in the Company’s Customer Relationship Management database, including but not limited to portfolio of products used. Update the information as required. Identify new types of information that should be captured so that appropriate fields can be added to the database. L. Record all pertinent information about interactions with existing customers and prospective customers in the Company’s Customer Relationship Management database. Use this information to plan and prepare for telephone calls, identifying of new opportunities, etc. M. Meet or exceed the periodic goals and objectives set by management, including, but not limited to, the number of outbound call projections of 80 to 100 calls on a daily or weekly basis, the amount of time spent on the phone of 3 hours daily with customers on an hourly, daily and weekly basis, the number of prospective customers identified and contacted, etc. N. Prepare letters, memoranda, faxes, e-mail messages and other forms of written communication to existing customers periodically throughout the year in order to inform them about industry and Company events that may be of interest to them or their businesses. O. Perform the required duties and responsibilities rotating during “On Call” periods in a positive, responsive and professional manner. P. Maintain a keen awareness of the expiration dates of inventory items and implement sales and marketing efforts to sell these items before their expiration. Q. Obtain credit information, financial information, and other information, as needed, in order to assist the Credit Department with its evaluation of the credit worthiness of existing customers and prospective customers. R. Maintain a keen business awareness of cash flow issues or adverse financial events faced by existing customers and prospective customers and communicate this information to the Credit Department in a timely fashion. S. Provide assistance to other Company departments as required. Communication thru Comp Notes to assist everyone to realize the day to day challenges of customers which may allow insight into purchasing patterns. T. Render assistance with, or perform additional duties and responsibilities at the request of management
Required Qualifications :
Experience in Territory and Relationship Management Excellent Communication Skills with a Strong Command of English Language (verbal and written) Thrives in a Risk/Reward Environment Outstanding Work Ethic and Personal Integrity MUST PASS BACKGROUND & CREDIT CHECK – No DUI, drug or felony charges. Must show some positive & responsible credit history.
